10 February 2022—The APN Steering Committee held its 48th meeting and approved a set of matrices for the monitoring and evaluation of APN activities in its fifth Strategic Phase.
The matrices will provide a basis for recording and reviewing APN’s work related to research, capacity development, science-policy interactions, stakeholder engagement and operations, as well as communication and outreach for the period between 2020 and 2024 by using quantitative and qualitative means.
The Committee also reviewed activities conducted since July 2021 and financial reports, and discussed plans for subregional cooperation by taking into account the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The virtual meeting was attended by representatives and invited experts from Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, the United States of America and Viet Nam.
