Dr. Wan Shafrina Wan Mohd Jaafar is a Senior Lecturer and currently serves as the Head of Earth Observation Centre, Institute of Climate Change, National University of Malaysia. She received a Fulbright Visiting Scholar award in 2024/2025, leading to her role as a Visiting Assistant Research Professor at the University of Maryland, USA. Dr Wan Shafrina is also a professional member of Malaysia Board of Technologists Malaysia (MBOT) and Expert Panel Technical Working Group on Integrated Land Resource Management, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Malaysia. She is a recipient/co-recipient of numerous national and international awards. She earned her PhD degree in Environmental Remote Sensing from the University of Edinburgh, UK.
