Thi Thuy Duong is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Environmental Technology (IET), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). She received her PhD from the University of Bordeaux I, France and has worked at IET since 2003. Her research interests focus on ecotoxicology and taxonomy of cyanobacteria, phytoplankton and benthic diatom, especially for water assessment. Recently, her works focus on different kinds of pollutants such as cyanotoxins, microplastics and their impact on the aquatic ecosystems.
