Dr S K Weragoda has specialized in water treatment. He is currently serving as the Project Director of the China Sri Lanka Research Grant Project attached to the Ministry of Water Supply, Sri Lanka. He has been recognized as an expert on the application of WSPs and an auditor by the WHO. He has obtained a PhD degree from Saitama University, Japan in the Year 2009. He is a charted engineer and member of IWA. He has been involved in water treatment plant design, construction, and operation for 20 years. He has already contributed to over 60 research publications.
