Mr. Sothea Rien has been a field technician in 2016-2021 and a lecturer at National University of Battambang since 2021 until now. He teaches the following subjects: Plant Tissue Culture, Nursery Plant Management, Agribusiness and Entrepreneur and Seminar.

In the last five years, he has worked in SATREPS project which focused on Development and dissemination of sustainable production system based on invasive pest management of cassava in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand) and Innovative Farming systems for Improved Nutrient and Income in NW Cambodia (IFINI).
