Dr, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology

Dr Shivam Gupta is an Assistant Professor at Narendra Dev University of Agriculture and Technology, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. Before this, he served as Assistant Professor at Central Agricultural University Imphal. He was posted in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, College of Agricultural Engineering and Post-Harvest Technology Gangtok, Sikkim, India. He completed his PhD in Water Resources Engineering and Management from the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati). He has worked as Research Scientist at National Remote Sensing Center (ISRO) in Hyderabad, India. His area of interest includes climate change and water resources management, extreme climate events, snowmelt runoff modelling, remote sensing, and GIS applications in water resources management. Presently, he is working on precision agriculture and sustainable agricultural water management.
