Dr Jeong’s main area of research include coupling membranes with physico-chemical and biological processes for advanced water and wastewater treatment, solid – liquid separation technologies, hybrid and integrated solutions for energy efficient water treatment including desalination, development of advanced water treatment systems for sustainable strategies targeting water reuse. Dr Jeong has authored about 100 refereed high impact journal publications in this field and has produced ten patents in water treatment.
