For. Romnick S. Baliton is an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Renewable Natural Resources-College of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of the Philippines Los Banos. He specializes in silviculture and agroforestry, and has a strong background in forestry. For. Baliton has been involved in assessing the ecological services of agroforestry, establishment of agroforestry models, and in the development of a GIS-based Agroforestry Land Capability Assessment and Mapping Schemes.
