Dr Hindersah is Associate Professor in Soil Microbiology and does research concerning soil microbes as a biofertilizer and bioremediation agent. She is an expert in developing biofertilizer for National Fertilizer Industry and in bioremediation for degraded agricultural land.  Dr Hindersah graduated with her PhD in Agriculture with a special domain of Soil Microbiology (related to heavy metal). She has been involved for 4 years in the Research and Community Service is Maluku Islands, Indonesia.
