Dr Rajesh Kumar is a Professor at the Department of Environmental Science, Central University of Rajasthan. He earned his PhD from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). He is a member of several academic societies and the editorial board of national and international journals. He is likewise Managing Editor of the Journal of Scientific and Technical Research (JSTR), published by Sharda University, Greater Noida, and NCR-Delhi. With more than 20 years of research experience in water quality and quantity assessment, he has published 88 papers in International and National Journals, and authored reports and book chapters with 38 paper presentations in National and International conferences/seminars. He has successfully executed research projects funded by WWF-India; DST, Govt. of India; USAID, US; South Asia Water Initiative (SAWI), ICIMOD, Nepal; MoES, Govt. of India and SAC (ISRO).
