Dr. Doan Quang Van is an assistant professor at the Centre for Computational Sciences, University of Tsukuba. He is skilled in urban climatology and meteorology, with a strong background in numerical modelling and AI/machine learning algorithms. He serves as a member of the Board on Urban Environment at the American Meteorological Society (since 2020), a representative of the My Climate Risk Tokyo Hub (WCRP/WMO), and the leader of the urban climate working group within CORDEX SEA (WCRP/WMO). Since 2016, he has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in international journals
