Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai has been a senior lecturer at Thuyloi University since 2002 until now. She teaches the following subjects: design of hydraulic structures, design of dikes and shore protection structures, Dam Safety, and Structures in Hydraulic Systems.
In the last five years, She has focused on assessing the effects of reservoirs downstream in terms of saltwater intrusion, sediment transport, bank and riverbed erosion, and studying the measures to mitigate or adapt to these impacts and climate change.
