Ms. Naoko NAKAJIMA is the Director of the Climate Change Science Office as well as the Climate Change Adaptation Office, Global Environment Bureau, Ministry of the Environment of Japan (MOEJ). She graduated from the master’s program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Nagoya University and joined MOEJ in 1994. She has been mainly involved in natural environment administration, and has been in charge of conservation and management of national parks and wildlife, as well as negotiations on international treaties and frameworks such as the Convention on Biological Diversity, IPBES, CITES, and the Ramsar Convention.
