Ye Mon Oo

Spring University Myanmar

Ye Mon Oo is a qualified water and climate change professional with more than four years of experience in climate change adaptation and mitigation, sustainable engineering, community engagement, youth development and environmental management. He is a trained Climate Reality Leader, with a Master of Science in Climate Change Science and Policy from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. He is Head of STEM School at Spring University Myanmar. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Yangon Technological University and worked as a youth engagement consultant at UNICEF Myanmar after his undergraduate degree. During his undergraduate studies, he co-founded RecyGlo, an innovative waste recycling company, and worked as a Chief Technical Advisor.
