M. I. M. Mowjood is a Chair Professor of Agricultural Engineering at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He has obtained his Master’s degree from Yamagata University and PhD from Iwate University, Japan. He has gathered over 25 years of research and teaching experiences for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in wastewater engineering, water pollution control through bioremediation, constructed wetlands, environmental hydrology and integrated water resources management. He has authored several book chapters on water management, has contributed to knowledge management and delivery to water professionals through national and global training. He has more than 100 journal publications.
