Dr Lei Gao is a senior research scientist at CSIRO. He has a very strong technical background and has worked in industry, university, and CSIRO on a broad range of fields, focusing on understanding complex system dynamics and exploring adaptive/sustainable solutions in natural resources and fishery resources systems. He has published over 100 articles, including 74 journal papers and 7 book chapters (mostly in prestigious journals, involving two publications in Nature). In recent five years, Dr Lei Gao co-led projects funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the South Australia State Government, the Australian Coal Industry’s Research Program, etc. He also contributed to many large-scale projects.
