Prof Cleugh is currently the co-chair of WCRP Open Science Conference and ex-vice Chair of WCRP. She is also a fellow of the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE) and the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society (AMOS).

As well as previous WCRP vice-chair and co-chair of the WCRP conference, Prof Cleugh has been a senior leader of CSIRO’s climate and atmospheric research from 2007, co-chair of the Australian Climate Change Science Programme; Director of the first Earth Systems and Climate Change Hub); and inaugural Director of CSIRO’s Climate Science Centre.
