Ester Salimun (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and a member of the CORDEX-SEA community. Her research focus on climate variability, meteorology, extreme weather, and climate change. She leads research on the characterization of extreme rainfall behavior over Malaysia in a warmer climate. Salimun’s expertise lies in evaluating CORDEX-SEA and GCM outputs to project climate variability impacts across Southeast Asia. She also explore the teleconnections of the ENSO and IOD using these models.
