Bob Adyari

Bob Adyari holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the Institute of Urban Environment (IUE), Chinese Academy of Sciences. He served as a Special Research Assistant at IUE from 2023 until 2025 and is now a faculty member in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Pertamina University. Bob’s research primarily focuses on understanding the spread of pollutants, including contaminants of emerging concern (CECs), antibiotic resistance genes and bacteria (ARGs/ARBs), and microplastics, in both natural and human-made environments. Additionally, he investigates their interactions with microbial communities, aiming to promote environmental health. Over the course of his academic career, Bob has authored or co-authored 16 SCI-indexed papers in the fields of environmental science and microbial ecology.
