Anoj Khanal

Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board

Mr Anoj Khanal is a hydrogeologist at Kathmandu Valley Water Supply Management Board (KVWSMB) with strong expertise in urban groundwater management. He earned his Master’s degree in Geology with a specialization in Hydrogeology from Central Department of Geology, Tribhuvan University. He has more than six years of demonstrated work history in the fields related to regulation, governance and management of groundwater, water insecurity and inequity, stable water isotopes, shallow aquifer characterization, and geological mapping. He has extensive experience in managing various research projects focused on water supply management, water quality analysis, freshwater lens thickness, wastewater management, groundwater recharge, asset management for the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Water Supply, KVWSMB.
