Alapati Ainuu is Samoan born and raised, from the villages of Vaiusu and Satufia Satupa’itea. He graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Adelaide, Australia. Since returning to Samoa from his studies, Alapati has taken on the role of Lecturer for Geography and Course Coordinator of Anthropology at the National University of Samoa. He is passionate about climate change advocacy, environmental sustainability and adaptation.
