Call for research partners: Agrifood loss and damage assessments

The Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment (OCB), part of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, is looking for a research partner to collaborate on the development of two important methodological frameworks:

  • A framework for assessing economic losses and damages from slow-onset events in agrifood systems.
  • A framework for assessing non-economic losses and damages from extreme weather events and slow-onset events in agrifood systems.

This research will contribute to OCB’s forthcoming technical guidelines for assessing climate change-associated loss and damage in agrifood systems, including selected local/national case studies from affected communities.
