10-11 February 2020, Indonesia—Dr Henri Bastaman (nFP of Indonesia), Prof. Erna Sri Adiningsih (SPG member of Indonesia), and Mr Gen’ichiro Tsukada (Director of APN Secretariat) paid a courtesy call to the Ministry of Research and Technology Indonesia, and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry Indonesia, and they discussed possible co-funding opportunities for APN’s research and capacity development activities with high officials of both ministries. They also visited the ASEAN Secretariat to exchange views on future collaboration between ASEAN and APN.

Mr Tsukada also met with the International Tropical Peatlands Center (ITPC), the Management Team of the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF) and JICA long-term experts, all of whom are based in Indonesia, to exchange information about APN and explore opportunities for future cooperation.
