Shu-Li Huang

Shu-Li Huang is a Distinguished Professor of the Graduate Institute of Urban Planning at National Taipei University (NTPU). Currently, Prof. Huang is Steering Committee (SC) of Urban KAN of Future Earth. He is also a committee member of Taiwan’s National Committee on Future Earth. From 2010-2017, Professor Huang was a member of the Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) of the Urbanization and Global Environmental Change Project (UGEC) of the International Human Dimension Programme on Global Environmental Change (IHDP). Prof. Huang’s recent research focus includes spatial planning and climate change, peri-urbanization and environmental change, and ecological energetic analysis of urbanization. Shu-Li Huang received an Outstanding Research Award from the National Science Council of Taiwan (1991, 2012), Resident Scholar of Bellagio Study and Conference Center, Rockefeller Foundation (1998), Planning Medal of Taiwan Institute of Urban Planning (2005), etc.
