Dr Son has over fifteen years of experience in satellite and biological oceanography, and have been conducting research in fundamental and applied ocean colour remote sensing and general/biological oceanography. He is working on a large database of various ocean colour satellite data for monitoring and validation/evaluation, develop, validate and evaluate the satellite ocean colour products and at the same time, developing bio‐optical and biogeochemical algorithms as well as investigating human/climate‐induced changes in the marine ecosystem.
