Climate scientist with over 20 years of experience in research and operational services for seasonal climate prediction. After earning a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences, he conducted research on Asian monsoon variability and predictability at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), collaborating with scientists from South Asian countries. Since joining the APEC Climate Center (APCC) in 2010, he has held key roles, including leading external affairs and the climate research and services division, managing diverse initiatives. His recent work focuses on enhancing climate prediction capabilities in various countries.
