Dr. Trinah Wati is a Climatologist at the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency in Indonesia. Skilled in climate variability and modelling, she holds a doctorate in Earth Science, which supports her contributions to climate insights for the project. She has extensive research experience related to the Urban Heat Island (UHI) effect and the thermal discomfort index in Jakarta, particularly in the context of air pollution. Additionally, she specializes in climate variability and climate change research in the Maritime Continent.
