Dr Parwati Sofan is the Group Leader of the Geo-analysis Research at the Research Center for Geoinformatics, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia. With over two decades of research experience, she began her career at the National Institute of Aeronautics and Space (LAPAN) before transitioning to BRIN in 2021. Her research focuses on Remote Sensing Applications in environmental studies and disaster mitigation, including urban green spaces, urban heat islands, urban thermal discomfort zones, and land use changes.
