Vo Tran Tuan Linh

Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology

Mr Vo Tran Tuan Linh got his M.E in Environmental Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. Since 2010, he has been working at the Department of Hydro-Geo Chemistry in the Institute of Oceanography. His research focuses on estuary and marine hydro-geochemistry processes, coastal pollution, and environmental impacts assessments. He has participated in several marine conservation and restoration projects and collaborated with most of the Marine Protected Areas in Vietnam. Since 2015, he has been involved in the scientific activities of IOC-WESTPAC, and became the national focal point for the Ocean Acidification and Microplastics Research networks.

Currently, he is a PhD candidate at the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research, East China Normal University. He is also a team member of the Plastic Marine Debris Research Center and the IOC-UNESCO Regional Training and Research Center on Plastic Marine Debris and Microplastics.
