Dr. Tran Dang An is the Vice Head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering and Environment at Thuyloi University’s Southern Campus in Ho Chi Minh City. He holds a Ph.D. in Water Environment and Sustainable Studies from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, with over a decade of expertise in water quality assessment, supply and treatment technologies, and environmental management. His research focuses on sustainable water solutions and natural disaster risk assessment in Southeast Asia, particularly in Vietnam and the Mekong Delta. He has contributed to numerous international projects and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals.
