Jose Bernardo B. Gochoco III

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability Southeast Asia Secretariat

EnP. Jose Bernardo Gochoco III has been working with local governments in the areas of climate change adaptation and mitigation and disaster risk reduction and management through various development assistance projects funded by international organizations since 2014. As a licensed Environmental Planner in the Philippines, his expertise revolves around the nexus of urban planning, environmental impacts, and sustainable development in the face of the climate crisis. He specializes in providing capacity building to local governments as well as technical assistance for the development of various local development plans. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Post-graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of the Philippines.
