Training Report: The Science-Policy adaptive capacity for local herding and government groups to reduce climate vulnerability

The first training report of the CBA2022-10MY-Balt project “The Science-Policy adaptive capacity for local herding and government groups to reduce climate vulnerability”, with the aim to discuss the outcomes of the following activities:

  • Officially launching the project from Mongolia;
  • Selecting and training 50 local representatives from 5 sums (local administrations) of the Gobi-Altai Province (Haliun, Bayan-Uul, Biger, Tegrog, and Taishir);
  • Signing an official Memorandum of Understanding between higher level governing bodies of project leading and implementation organisations;
  • Organising the “Science-policy pathways forum, academic conference and science exhibition” during project kick-off to spread science outputs and its application into local policy formulation, designing, and implementation process.
